up a gum tree

Heaven knows where that expression comes from but I have great enjoyment looking up through the gum trees that are along my morning walk.
I live on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. And what a great spot it is – we are only a few minutes from many great beaches, again only a few minutes from any one of four coastal lakes and a short drive inland to lovely small-farm country.
I have started taking my camera on my walk. My walk is the same every morning but there is always something that looks different.
I love this particular tree and it looked fine today with the angle and quality of light. Enjoy it!

a simple question .. why is your walk the same every morning?

Gregory – I have chronic fatigue and cannot go far and within that short distance there is little opportunity to vary the route, although I try to do so when I am feeling a bit fitter.
