forgetting stuff
The older I get, the more I forget things. I do not mean that I am heading towards dementia, as far as I know. Just that I forget in two sorts of ways.
Forgetting names and such
I have never been good at remembering names. But now, I am beginning to forget the names of things. Not for [...]

We stayed in the Medina serviced apartments in Darlington, [...]

Nobbys Beach, Newcastle
On my recent trip to Newcastle (New South Wales, Australia) I was on a reconnoitre of sorts, trying to get an idea of where things are so I can be selective in where I go next time, to get the pictures I want.
Of course, I ended up at Nobbys Beach, a nice little beach just [...]

brain fog
I have had brain fog recently.
“Brain fog is a term for the “woolly” sensation of a physical obstruction to clear thinking in the brain, often extended to apply in general to neurocognitive symptoms experienced by many people who suffer from diseases such as ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, amongst others.” [Wikipedia]
“CFS” as used here stands for chronic fatigue [...]

This post and hopefully future posts deals with my visits to Newcastle, Australia. First I should make sure you know where I am talking about. We live on the Central Coast of New South Wales, between Sydney and Newcastle. Here is a map to help you locate us:
