the cheap gear

5 March, 2008

I was in a supermarket a couple of weeks ago and saw a pack of a camera (re-loadable), 2 films, 2 batteries, all for $10, so I couldn’t resist could I? Especially as I often like the poor (poor? at least, different) quality of these cheap throwaway cameras.

I used a film shooting at whatever was in front of me (hence the title) – the shot below was taken as I was driving along one of the back roads in the town where we live. Good fun!

For some reason I like pics like this with a square-on aspect. So I am pleased with this result, although I suppose it will win no competitions.
